Dear students,
At the system, you can find material for the final topic at the course. The topic is multi-criteria decision making. The lectures are followed by two assignments, each of them has a different deadline: the first one has deadline on May 22; and the other one on May 27. The second one is more complex and it is a sort of seminar work (approx. 4000 words) so please, meet the assignments early to efficiently plan your time.
I also prolonged the deadline for the previous assignment, until May 22. Many of you didn't understand the assignments correctly. I give you some hints:
- Task 2: Alternatives are: purchase_quantity. The events are demand_quantity (not selling_quantity).
- If the purchase_quantity=8 and the demand_quantity=10, then selling_quantity=8.
- If the purchase_quantity=10 and the demand_quantity=8, then selling_quantity=8.
This might be helpful in establishing the matrix of the payment. - Task 3: It is a variant of the Game in slide 10 in the presentation. So, it is expected to apply the decision tree method. (See video lecture.)
- Task 4: Here, you have to create the matrix of payment and apply all 7 methods from the group Uncertainty and risk. (Like in Task 2.)
So, if somebody wants to upgrade his/her homework, (s)he can do it. In case of further questions, let me know.
A would also like to announce the finale test on this course. It will be conducted online. It will cover all the topics in the course. It will consist of theory and practical assignments. There are two possible dates for that: June 2nd or June 9th. What fits you best?
