I think this was a good exaple of critical thinking, the video was well structured, with good information, and he localised it to the area he is from. Some of the standards that he used that I noticed are :
Clarity - he explained the difference between adiction and consumption, so that there wouldn't be confusion when elaborating the topic.
Accuracy - he said what are the consequences for each of the adictions which are medicaly proven
Precision - he clarified what are the numbers for some of the adictions, for instance 14% of youth is smoking canabis at ages 17-18 and etc.
Relevance - this problem is relevant at our age group, and he gave examples on which way is the goverment trying to stop this problem and what are his exaples on how to stop it as well.
Also I liked that he gave a really good question at the end for all of us that watched the video which I can also connect to fairness. To answer it, I think it's a combination of all of those things, we have a choice to pick what to do with our life an to steer it in the best possible way that we can, but that also depends on how we were raised, where we grew up and etc. It's a problem and a question to think about.

He made a good critical thinking about that theme.
He gave a good example.
He made the difference between addiction and dependence.
He gave some different addiction that exists.
He gave some solutions about the problem of the addictions.
It's been interesting because we don't speak a lot about that.
To answer to his question I think first it's our environment that provokes the addiction about something and second, it's our fault to be addictive because we know the consequences of that. And sometimes the addiction come from a problem that we can't resolve alone.

I really liked his video
He took a hard subject
He did clear explanations with data and examples and ask a good question in the end.
To answer to the question, i think that it's not our fault if we are addicted, it's admitted by the WHO, and it often result to our environment (example :smoking in the 1950) or to fill a need or because you are going through an hard period.
And it's it's nearly impossible to stop our addictions alone like for example, there is a lot people hill because they brutally stopped their addiction due to the covid19 (the weed smokers, or opioid addicts) and there
But we can go out from this addition if we are looking for getting help so it's a bit our fault if we are doing nothing.

Edit : i didn't see joseph comment sorry, i took a long time to  write my comment and i didn't refreshed
