I really liked his video
He took a hard subject
He did clear explanations with data and examples and ask a good question in the end.
To answer to the question, i think that it's not our fault if we are addicted, it's admitted by the WHO, and it often result to our environment (example :smoking in the 1950) or to fill a need or because you are going through an hard period.
And it's it's nearly impossible to stop our addictions alone like for example, there is a lot people hill because they brutally stopped their addiction due to the covid19 (the weed smokers, or opioid addicts) and there
But we can go out from this addition if we are looking for getting help so it's a bit our fault if we are doing nothing.
