Homework: Critical thinking
Choose any situation you want (actual social issue, some problem from your place,
scientific or professional paper) and do reasoning on it:
•Try to obtain as many elements you can
•When describing the elements, try to satisfy as many intellectual
standards as you can
Make a video (3 to 3.5
minutes - recommended time, not mandatory), not written paper, and upload it on Youtube, and then put your link here at forum: Add new discussion. In the title of the discussion write the title of the problem you reflected on in your video, and in the body of the message insert a link from Youtube. Use full link, not shorten version of the link. When you save your discussion, the link will be automatically transformed into an embedded video.
Deadline: April 25th.
The second part of your homework is (this part can be done only if the first part has been done):
- to watch all the videos and rate all of them (this forum has the possibility of voting on scale 1-10). The criteria for voting are related to the quality of the content from the perspective of critical thinking.
- to make reflections and evaluations of two of your colleagues’ works. Choose any two videos of your colleagues (that are not commented yet by two students) and in 50-100 words make your reflection on the video with respect to the critical thinking theory.
Deadline: May 3rd.
